Uzfood is a well-known industry exhibition project in Uzbekistan, and also the largest food industry chain exhibition in Uzbekistan, which is held in Tashkent every March. The exhibition is organized by ITECA Exhibitions, the ICA Exhibition Group company. Foreign companies in the food industry are mainly engaged in the processing and production of fruit and vegetable products; The production of alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, fruit drinks, wine and other beverage products; Processing and production of meat, milk and baked goods.
With a population of nearly 60 million, the five Central Asian countries have a large consumption of food, of which the proportion is particularly high: meat products, dairy products, baked goods, canned foods, fruits and vegetables; The food additives, processing equipment, packaging equipment and materials required for processing and production are mostly met by imports.
